General terms and user agreement
This text is subject to approval by the legal department.
This document sets out the rules for using the KamKam website and the general terms of the financing products. The final terms of each deal are fixed in the signed contract.
1. Status of information on the site
Information on the site is general and does not constitute a public offer.
Amount, term, mark-up and down payment come from the product passport. Exact values are set after the client’s application and documents have been reviewed.
2. Applying and review procedure
Applications are accepted through the website form, by phone or at the office.
After an application is received a manager contacts you, clarifies details and provides the list of documents.
The review period and decision procedure are communicated when the application is accepted.
An application may be declined; the reason is given on request.
3. Required documents
The exact list depends on the chosen product, the amount and the client’s status (individual, sole trader, company) and is communicated before the contract is signed.
4. Financing model
The product uses the murabaha model: the company buys the asset and sells it to the client in instalments with a pre-agreed mark-up.
No interest is charged. The mark-up is fixed in the contract as a firm amount and does not change over the term.
Compliance of the product with Islamic finance is confirmed by the Special Council for Islamic Finance.
5. Collateral
Collateral requirements depend on the product and amount and are stated in the contract.
6. How funds are provided
Funds are not paid to the client in cash: the company transfers the asset price directly to the seller.
7. Payment frequency and schedule
Payments follow the schedule annexed to the contract, as a rule once a month.
The schedule shows the date and amount of each payment and the outstanding balance, and is provided to the client before the contract is signed.
8. Consequences of late payment
No interest or penalty is charged on late payment.
In case of prolonged delay the company may terminate the contract early and recover the debt as provided by law.
Information about the delay is passed to the credit bureau where required by law.
9. Early closure
The contract may be closed early at any time. No early repayment penalty is charged; the recalculation procedure is set out in the contract.
10. Liability of the parties
The parties are liable for non-performance in accordance with the contract and the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
11. Dispute resolution
Disputes are settled through negotiation and the complaints procedure. Failing agreement, a dispute is heard by a court under the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
12. Intellectual property
Texts, images and logos on the site belong to the company; use without written permission is prohibited.
13. Final provisions
The company may amend these terms. The current version is published on this page; changes do not apply retroactively to signed contracts.
