Product terms

These terms apply before the contract is signed. Exact values are fixed in the signed contract.

Purpose
Purchase of raw materials, supplies and goods for production or trade; this is not a cash payout to the client for free use.
Requirements for the client
  • Legal entities, after verification of trading turnover and repayment capacity.
Terms
Murabaha: the organisation buys specific goods from the supplier and sells them to the company in instalments with an agreed mark-up. Term, amount and mark-up follow the approved tariff.
Down payment and collateral
The purchased goods are NOT taken as collateral. Other acceptable collateral is registered before financing; its recognised value is at least 125% of the financing amount. No 25% advance is required for this product.
Required documents
  • Company details and registration documents
  • Authority of the director
  • Financial statements / bank turnover
  • Contract or invoice with the seller
  • List of goods and prices
  • Title documents for the other collateral provided
Application review period
To be confirmed
How funds are provided
Funds are not paid to the client in cash: the asset price is transferred to the seller.
Payment frequency
Once a month, according to the payment schedule annexed to the contract.
How the mark-up and payment are calculated
Total payment = financing amount + mark-up (a firm amount in the contract). Monthly payment = total ÷ term (months). No compounding of interest.

Note: Down payment, collateral and tariffs apply in accordance with the organisation’s internally approved terms.

How the deal is structured

Below are the financing model, the price structure and how risks are shared. Final figures are fixed in the contract.

Price structure

Purchase price — the price at which the company buys the asset from the seller.

Mark-up — the company’s profit, fixed in the contract as a firm amount. No interest is charged and the mark-up does not change over the term.

Final price — the purchase price plus the mark-up. The total payment equals this amount and is spread across the payment schedule.

Risk sharing

KamKam does not take on all the risk: we operate on a shared-risk basis with the client.

The risks and obligations of each party are set out clearly in the contract.

Changes in the asset’s market value do not affect the final contract price.

Consequences of late payment

No interest or penalty is charged on late payment.

The detailed procedure is set out in the “General terms” section.
